Zoning/Annexation
Having the right type of industrial zoning in place is important to start a project, keep it on track, and protect the company's long term interests at the facility. The West Central Ohio Industrial Center (WCOIC) is zoned M-3 Industrial. The M-3 District is primarily reserved for intensive industrial uses. The WCOIC is located away from existing residential neighborhoods or commercial districts. It is bounded on the east by Interstate 75, on the north by US 33, on the west by County Road 25A, and on the south by Pusheta Creek. The WCOIC and adjacent area is currently home to fifteen industrial companies. They range from manufacturers of aluminum auto castings, rubber products, and home appliance parts to processors of plastic resins, commercial textiles, and food additives.

In July 2006 the City of Wapakoneta, Auglaize County and Pusheta Township entered into a joint contractual agreement providing for the site's automatic annexation to the City upon executing an option agreement within the site.
